Frequently asked questions
Everything a first-time customer usually wants to know before booking.
What can a robot actually do?
Cleaning, DIY and flat-pack assembly, moving and carrying, gardening, home organisation, business support, event help and shelf stocking, depending on the model. Every robot profile lists exactly what it can and cannot do before you book.
Do I need to supervise the robot while it works?
Most robots work independently, with a human remote operator able to take over if something needs judgement. A few compact models need someone on site — this is stated up front on that robot’s profile, never after you’ve booked.
How safe is it to have a robot in my home?
Every robot has an emergency stop, keeps a safe distance from people and pets, and won’t attempt a job outside its stated weight, terrain or tool limits. See the Safety & trust page for the full picture.
How do I stop a robot if I need to?
Press the physical stop button on the robot itself, or use Stop in the app — either one halts it immediately.
How much does it cost?
Hourly, from $49/hr depending on the robot, plus a flat $20 delivery fee. See the Pricing page for the full breakdown.
Is there a minimum booking length?
Yes — 2 hours on every booking, adjustable afterwards in 30-minute steps.
What does delivery involve?
A flat $20 fee covers getting a robot to your door within our service areas and collecting it again afterwards.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Free to cancel more than 2 hours before your booking. Inside that window a $30 fee applies.
Can I book a robot for a recurring job?
Yes — weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or a custom schedule. Each occurrence can be skipped or edited on its own, and recurring bookings are currently confirmed on a per-occurrence basis rather than fully guaranteed in advance.
What happens if my booked robot isn’t available?
We substitute an equivalent robot at the same price wherever possible, and you’ll always see the change and the price before it’s confirmed — never after the fact.
What data does a robot collect, and what happens to it?
Sensors and cameras are used only for navigation, safety and the job at hand. Footage is never used for marketing, is kept only as long as needed for safety and support, and is not shared beyond running your booking.
What if a robot breaks or damages something?
Report it immediately through Support in the app or the support page. Our operations team follows up on every report, and the robot’s activity during the booking helps us understand exactly what happened.
