Safety & trust

What keeps a robot safe to have in your home or business, in plain language.

Safety controls

  • Every robot has a physical emergency stop and a stop control in the app that takes effect immediately.
  • Robots move deliberately and keep a safe distance from people, pets and obstacles while working.
  • Each robot's profile states plainly what it can and cannot safely do before you book it.
  • Weight limits, terrain limits and tool restrictions are enforced automatically — a robot will not attempt a job outside its limits.

Operational oversight

  • Most robots in the fleet can be taken over by a human remote operator if a job needs judgement a robot shouldn't make alone.
  • Some compact models need someone on site while they work — this is stated up front on that robot's profile, never discovered after booking.
  • Our operations team monitors active bookings and can intervene, reassign a different unit, or send support if something isn't right.

Emergency stop & incidents

  • Press the physical stop button on the robot, or use Stop in the app, to halt it immediately.
  • If something goes wrong, report it through Support in the app or on the support page — a real person follows up on every report.
  • A remote operator can pause or redirect a robot mid-job if it becomes stuck or the situation changes.

Your responsibilities

  • Give the robot clear, unobstructed access to where it needs to work.
  • Keep pets and children away from the robot while it's working, especially for jobs using tools.
  • Stay on site if a robot's profile says supervision is required.
  • Tell us straight away, using the emergency stop and support, if anything seems wrong.
